Terms & Conditions

What these terms coverUse of this website, and the standing of everything published on it

These terms apply to anyone reading, linking to or sending an enquiry through kitchenrenovationbentleigh.com.au. They set out what the material published here is — guidance on materials, construction and sequence — and where the binding detail of a kitchen sits instead: in a written quote and agreement.

How to read this pageFive numbered clauses: 01 accuracy of published material, 02 the standing of guidance, 03 intellectual property, 04 links, 05 liability

01

Accuracy of published material

Pages describing cabinetry construction, benchtop materials, splashback junctions, island clearances and storage hardware are written to be correct at the time of publishing. Manufacturers change ranges, thicknesses, finish codes, substrate makeup and warranty conditions without notice, and a detail that is standard one season can be discontinued the next.

Dimensions, clearances and material properties quoted anywhere on this site are general references. Confirm them against the current manufacturer documentation for the product you are actually buying, and against measurements taken in your own kitchen. Pages may be edited, replaced or withdrawn at any time as products and methods change.

Where a page discusses how a material behaves, the intent is to help you ask sharper questions — see the Kitchen Guides and Kitchen Benchtops.
02

Guidance is not a specification or a quotation

Standing of anything on this siteEditorial guidance — never a design document, order or quotation

A kitchen is specified on a measured plan: carcass and door material, benchtop thickness and edge, splashback treatment, hardware, appliance models and the position of every service. Nothing published here performs that job, and no page, guide or service description should be treated as an offer, an approval of a layout, or a commitment to supply.

No figures are published on this site. Where a guide discusses what moves a budget, it names the variables — scope, cabinetry construction, benchtop material, relocation of services — rather than amounts. Any number attached to your kitchen comes from a written quote prepared after a site measure.

The sequence a project actually follows is set out on Our 12-Step Kitchen Renovation Process.
03

Intellectual property

The written content, page structure and material notes on this site belong to Kitchen Renovation Bentleigh. Photographs are used under the licence terms of their source and remain the property of their owners. Drawings, elevations, material schedules and quotation documents prepared for a client remain our property unless an agreement says otherwise in writing.

You are welcome to quote a short passage with a clear link back to the page it came from. Copying pages, guides or documents wholesale — in print, online or as part of another business’s marketing — requires written permission.

04

Links to other sites

Pages here may point to manufacturer, supplier or standards information so you can read a specification at its source. Those sites are outside our control. Their accuracy, availability, privacy handling and terms are entirely their own, and a link is not an endorsement of anything beyond the specific detail being referenced.

05

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to that, this website is provided as general information and is used at your own discretion.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or cost arising from reliance on general guidance published here — for example materials ordered, appliances purchased, cabinetry cut or trades booked on the basis of a page rather than a measured plan and a written scope. Decisions with a cost attached should be made against documentation prepared for your kitchen.

We also cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the site, and are not responsible for faults, outages or transmission problems outside our control.
